Hello everyone!
I am Yvette Ramirez, Host of the Kickin’
Kountry Café! I was
raised in the big city of Hart, Texas and graduated in 2007.
Coming from a small town you know everyone and everyone
knows you, and you always have a good story to tell.
Everything I have learned I can credit to the values and
lessons I learned back home.
The people are friendly and have an even bigger heart.
I am blessed with two of the best parents ever.
They have taught me many things in life but above all
they have taught me how to love.
Love God, love myself, love others, and love country
music, so it seems to me I am in the right place for that.
After graduation I attended South Plains
College in Levelland and received my Associates Degree in
Broadcast Journalism.
I then moved closer to home to Kress, Texas, and married
my missing puzzle piece, Oscar Ray.
I know you can tell I am a real city gal!
In November of 2011 my husband and I welcomed our first
child, Matthew Luke.
He has been my greatest accomplishment.
My life has thrown me my share of curve balls I have had
to climb a few mountains and battle a few storms but I finally
feel I am where I need to be.
I enjoy the time I have with my family and friends and
sharing my life with my listeners.
So tune in weekdays from 10 to noon, I hope to make your
day a little lighter, I will play a few tunes and we can share a
laugh.
